Project overview
Shotcreat manufactures spare parts for shotcrete machines and exports them worldwide. Their old website was hard to find on Google and offered a poor experience to visitors. Together we built a fast, multilingual, search-friendly website from scratch.
The challenge
Shotcreat's customers search for parts by machine brand, typing queries like "Aliva spare parts" or "Meyco spare parts". The old site did not rank well for these searches, and visitors who did arrive struggled to find the part they needed. As a result, international buyers were going to competing suppliers.
The solution
We rebuilt the site around the way buyers actually look for parts. The product catalogue is organised by machine brand, such as Aliva, Meyco and Ocmer. Visitors reach the right part in a few clicks, and each brand gets its own page that can rank on Google.
The site runs on Node.js, Express.js and MongoDB, with pages rendered on the server using EJS. This keeps the site fast and makes all content fully crawlable by search engines. We also built a custom admin panel so the Shotcreat team can update products and content in [DOLDUR: number] languages on their own. After launch, Shotcreat climbed to the top of Google for the most important searches in its industry:
