Project overview
AutoMarket KS is a mobile app we built for buying and selling new and used cars in Kosovo, available on iOS and Android. Both private sellers and dealerships can post listings, and buyers can filter for the car they want and contact the seller directly.
The challenge
Trust is the biggest problem in buying and selling cars. Buyers want to know the car's real condition and whether the seller is reliable. Sellers, on the other hand, can't see how much interest their listing is getting. Social media groups and general classifieds sites don't meet these needs: cars can't be filtered properly, damage information isn't presented in a standard way and there's no feedback on sellers.
The solution
We designed AutoMarket KS to build trust between buyers and sellers.
For sellers:
- Post a listing and upload photos in a few steps
- Damage, paint and replaced-parts marking: sellers mark which parts of the car are painted, replaced or damaged on a car diagram, so buyers see its condition at a glance.
- Listing performance: sellers can track how many times their listing was viewed and how much interest it receives.
- Private sellers and dealerships use the same app. For buyers:
- Filter by make, model, year and price
- Save listings to favourites
- Message sellers directly in the app
- Seller reviews and ratings: buyers rate sellers, so reliable sellers stand out. We built the app with React Native, so a single codebase runs on both iOS and Android. The result
With AutoMarket KS, car buyers and sellers in Kosovo can handle the whole process, from posting a listing to rating the seller, in one app. Damage marking and seller ratings make buying and selling more transparent.
